The Grow Zambia Agenda is the route which must be taken for the next five years and therefore false and insults posted on social media platforms should not derail Zambians from this path, President Hakainde Hichilema has said.
President Hichilema said some of the postings on social media had the potential to drive away and threaten would-be investors.
He said this when he swore in Shiwakombe Musokotwane as Finance and National Planning Minister, Mulambo Haimbe as Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Roma Chilengi as Health Minister, and Gilbert Siama as Green Economy and Environment Minister at State House yesterday.
“Just remember that the things that you are posting on social media, online, have the potential to affect, certain you put your freedoms are there. But those postings that drive away investment, even from fellow citizens who they feel cannot retrieve resources they have; you are damaging the Grow Zambia Agenda,” President Hichilema said.
President Hakainde said Zambians should stay from damaging the economy and prospects, and move away from criminality as those that abrogated the law would not be spared.
