By REBECCA MUSHOTA –
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Secretary General Davies Mwila has reiterated that the ruling party belongs to all members and not only those that perceive themselves as founder members.
Mr Mwila said the PF belonged to both old and new members and not particular individuals.
He said this when he featured on a calling-in programme at a radio station in Chinsali in Muchinga Province yesterday.
This is according to a statement issued by PF media director Sunday Chanda.

Mr Mwila said that it was not correct for some expelled members of the party to refer to themselves as founder members of the PF.
He said those that wished to set aside any doubt should check with the Registrar of Societies where they would find that among the founder members in 2001 were Edwin Lifwekelo, the former secretary general of the PF and deputy spokesperson of the United Party for National Development and President Edgar Lungu’s aide Flatella Musimuko.
“Politics is about numbers and so we shouldn’t insist on issues like founder members,” Mr Mwila said.
He called for discipline and commitment among party members.
Mr Mwila said that party members should focus their energy on building the party for the future.
