BETHEL Church International in Ndola will donate witchcraft paraphernalia surrended by a former witchdoctor for display at the Copperbelt Museum’s library.
The witchcraft paraphernalia were obtained from a confessed 30 year old Ndola man who narrated of his association to the dark art at the church with his spine-chilling confessions.
At a spiritual clinic conducted by Apostle Robert Bwalya , the confessed witchdoctor claimed to have been initiated into witchcraft by his family members.
Apostle Bwalya said among the charms surrendered at the clinic were items like Ilomba, a mythical creature allegedly used for flying to far-away lands to hunt for fresh corpses from the graves, two bottles filled with water used to bath the dead and other charms.
He said the Church was encouraged to collect and donate objects for display at the museum for documentation.
The former witch doctor confession implicated well-known prophets in the nocturnal game, mainly from Lusaka who, however, denied the allegations levelled against them when Sunday Times contacted them for a comment.
The man confessed to having cast infertility spells and caused
thousands of deaths to unborn babies on the
Copperbelt and Lusaka.
Last week Dr Bwalya called on Christians in Zambia not to be fooled by miracles being performed by fake pastors.
He said Christians should be more interested in the Word because it was the only solution that would help them in their salvation.
