TWO struggling sides, ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers and Nchanga Rangers today face it off as they open Week 24 fixtures of the MTN/FAZ Super League at Shinde Stadium in a match to be beamed live on Super Sport.
The two sides meet at a time when they are going through poor form having failed to pick a win in their last five matches.
Wanderers occupy 12th position with 25 points while their visitors are two places above with 27 points.
But it will be the hosts who will be desperate for a win as they sit three points above the relegation drop and a defeat today might drag them into the bottom four teams.
Wanderers attempts to rescue their season with the recruitment of Portuguese coach Paulo Silva has backfired as the tactician has hit the headlines for wrong reasons.
Silva has been sent to the terraces twice already while the team has not shown any signs of improvement.
Wanderers will, however, look to revive their dwindling season with a win though they have limited players to look to for inspiration.
On the other hand, Rangers have been inconsistent this season and the only time they have been consistent is when losing.
Coach Bruce Mwape together with his assistants Evans Sakala and Elijah Tana were given a three game ultimatum to save their jobs which started badly with a defeat against Nkana at home.
But the trio has another chance to put things in order when they take their side to Shinde Stadium.
