The land was part of subdivision number 33A, opposite Ndeke Village in Meanwood.
Mr Mpharo and others want the court to order that they had not at any time occupied another 68 hectares of land belonging to the ZNS.
They also want an order for the Attorney General to direct the Commissioner of Lands to issue them with offer letters to enable them obtain certificates of title.
The aggrieved residents were also demanding to be awarded damages for allegedly being inconvenienced.
Mr Mpharo stated that the locals were occupants of part of subdivision number 33A, since the early 1980s.
He claimed that the residents wrote a letter to the Ministry of Defence, the original owner of the land in question, to have it legalised by issuing them with certificates of title.
Mr Mpharo said meetings were held with Government officials who assured them that they would be issued with the titles but this had not been done upto now.
In light of this, they have suffered loss and damage, including damages for being allegedly inconvenienced.
