A FORTY-YEAR-OLD bartender of Kabwe’s Katondo Township has been murdered by suspected bandits who went away with five Bonanza machines.
Central Province Police chief Lombe Kamukoshi identified the deceased as Daniel Bwalya, who was attacked by unknown people while on duty at a named bar.
She said Mr Bwalya was murdered between Monday and Tuesday this week.
Ms Kamukoshi said the victim sustained a deep wound on the left side of his forehead and a swollen head.
“The incident was reported by Fredrick Tembo, 40, that Mr Bwalya was attacked and murdered by unknown assailants. The victim sustained a deep wound on the left side of the forehead and he had a swollen head,” she said.
Investigations have continued in the matter.
