AFTER a two-week break, the Copperbelt Netball Association (CONA) season open finals will reach their conclusion this weekend at Kalewa netball courts.
The games should have ended on April 23 but failed as the games were marred with confusion instigated by Ndola Medics who refused to leave court after losing a tight semi-final loss at the hands of Kamfinsa.
Ndola Medics is yet to appear before a disciplinary committee over the actions that forced the finals to be brought to this weekend.
The final will be between Kamfinsa and Kitwe Rifles this Saturday.
CONA fixtures secretary Honest Kapembwa said the case involving Ndola Medics had not yet been tabled but that appropriate punishment will be meted out.
“Our final games will be played on Saturday, we had to push the games to this weekend, because of the confusion that erupted during the games,
“The case concerning medics the committee has not yet sat on the matter and once the committee meets they team will be given their punishment,” Kapembwa said.
Kamfinsa will face Kitwe rifles in the final.
