ON Saturday May 7, 2016, all roads for gospel music lovers will surely lead to Mulungushi Conference Centre where the Eminent Gospel Songbird Chileshe Bwalya will be putting up a show.
The concert organised by Bitter Sweet Worship Poetry Company andpowered by Mulungushi International, Power FM and Go-Empressions opendoors to the public at 19:00 and might go slightly beyond 02:OO am.
Chileshe, who discovered her talent at the tender age of three and developed it at school concerts and talent shows, says it was in 2012 that she joined the Ministry By Fire (MBF) to consolidate her career professionally.
The award winning singer says it’s one thing to sing because you can and another because you understand why God gave you the ability to sing.
She further explains that she had the ability but had no purpose until she got the inspiration from Prophet Humphrey Mwale and Prophetess Mwale who played a great deal in helping her grow.
She cites Prophet Humphrey Mwale as her musical inspiration, adding that he is the one who taught her a lot in terms of music.
“I did sing for friends and television commercials and radio adverts but now I am doing it for Jesus.” says Chileshe.
The songbird feels God has given her so many plans to embark on andmissions to create a Holy Ghost network of worshipers and believers to spread the Word.
“My responsibility at the moment is to equip and prepare other believers for God’s work” says Chileshe.
Chileshe is known for tracks such as the award winning song Ambuye Ngenani, Mu Mutende and Paka Tumumfwe which features Ephraim among others.
