.Pokello and Elikem

FORMER Zimbabwean housemate in the Big Brother The Chase, Pokello Nare ‘the queen of swag’ and her love interest Elikem Kumordzie ‘ the tailor’ of Ghana were last Friday in Zambia to grace the premiering of a new Ghanaian Movie ‘My Wife’s Husband.’
The duo that had an exciting and unique experience in the dramatic Big Brother house, were supposed to be a major attraction to most Big Brother fans especially that they had untold stories of their new lives outside the Big Brother walls.
Those very few who managed to get wind of the information found themselves at Levy Park though a fraction of them were interested in seeing the sensational fine-looking Ghanaian actor Majid Michel whose face was advertised flanking Elikem’s as another star guest.
Majid never made it to Zambia.
Even the movie they came to grace only saw a handful of guests.
Thanks to Pink Diamonds although one wonders what the promoters would have done without the visible positive effort by Sphiwe Benasho who managed to add glamour to the event with her brilliantly polished male and female diamonds red carpet walk.
Sphiwe is Pink Diamonds proprietor.
The erratic preps of the event saw the queen of Swag declining to come out of her hotel room to join Elikem as she made it clear during an exclusive interview with the DStv Entertainment that she would only want to go where a good number of people were anxiously waiting to give her that celebrity welcome.
“You know, where ever I am, I just intimidate other ladies with my swag and ego … I love taking care of myself and keeping my image at its zenith the way I did in the Big Brother house … that was the reason why all the girls felt uncomfortable in the house… but one thing for sure is that am not arrogant or bossy,” she says.
Now, aside her swag and looks, during the special talk with DStv Entertainment, Pokelo expressed her joy to have stepped into Zambia with her love interest who she says has totally made her life meaningful.
She said as a business executive dealing in high-class shoes, she found something interesting in Elikem, the designer that made the two to bond inside the dramatic house and amazingly still going even outside the crumbled walls.
“We are definitely getting married very soon and my son has even started seeing a father in Elikem. Elikem is just what a woman like me wants,” she had to say.
Upon hearing the flattery, Elikem had to respond with a match to Pokelo words as he said: “Bringing Pokelo from the diamond hose to be with us was a breath of fresh air in my life as she defines what one would describe as a perfect woman.
She cooks clean she is beautiful, intelligent and so sober that she has known no alcohol in her life… what more would a man ask for apart from a beautiful hand in marriage,”
After gracing the movie, Elikem was joined by his former housemates Sulu and Max for a drink up at News Café the destination on Pokelo accepted to reach. The duo left the following morning.
