SOCCER fans have been given a football present following MultiChoice’s decision to open up the massively-watched English Premier League (EPL) and the Spanish La-Liga on the Compact bouquet effective yesterday.
The two leagues will be available on Compact bouquet after the creation of two new SuperSport channels (SS-11 and SS-12) which will be accessible to Compact bouquet subscribers.
MultiChoice Zambia acting general manager Ngoza Matakala said that the world’s best football leagues in the EPL and La-Liga would be available to DStv Compact subscribers at no extra cost.
Matakala said MultiChoice Zambia would not raise the cost of the bouquet with the new development and that the EPL would be on DStv channel 211 and the La-Liga on Channel 212.
She said the move was part of MultiChoice Africa’s on-going efforts to improve its products and, most importantly, for football lovers. Matakala added that even the Euro 2016 Games which kicks off on June 10 to July 10, would be available on the two channels.
“We’re excited that we can now deliver the best football action in the world to our Compact subscribers in all their HD glory while ensuring that this development doesn’t negatively impact on them financially,” she said.
Matakala said that all Compact subscribers would now be able to enjoy the biggest games of the season, including this Sunday’s clash between Manchester United and Arsenal on SS-11.
