POWER Dynamos have sealed the transfer of midfielder Gozon Mutale from promoted Lumwana Radiants.
Power secretary Ricky Mamfunda said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday that they were very excited to have signed the 21-year-old.
“Gozon has joined us on an initial four-year contract. We completed negotiations with Lumwana on Thursday. We are also very happy to have brought such a young talent to the team,” he said.
Mutale came to the fore during the 2015 Barclays Cup quarter-finals when he won the Man-of-the-Match award in a 3-0 loss to Zanaco on September 19.
He is Power’s third high-profile signing this season, joining winger Laurent Muma from Forest Rangers, who has also joined on a permanent move, and striker Conlyde Luchanga who joined on a two-year loan deal from Lusaka Dynamos.
