UPCOMING female artiste Mandy is this May scheduled to release her latest album entitled My Name Is.
This is after the songbird dropped her first single Weekend Special in November last year, which has enjoyed airplay on local radio stations.
Mandy, whose real names are Mary Ndau, said her latest project is diverse.
She said it has music for all age groups, ranging from traditional Afro Pop, deep house music, reggae, dance hall, and local RnB.
The musician, who works as a nurse, said her music borders on the need for men to be thankful for the contribution that women make in the community.
“That’s why my first single talks about a woman who is only appreciated by her husband on the weekend because he wants something in return which is not supposed to be the case,” she says.
Mandy says as a new artiste, she will work to identify unique styles.
Mandy is currently working on her first video called Ufuno Nisiya.
