GOVERNMENT has launched the Zambia International Investment Forum (ZIIF -2016), with a call to aggressively diversify the economy to other sectors to cushion the economy against the negative effects of external shocks.
The forum which is expected to attract over 500 potential investors from around the world would be held from April 21 – 22 at Lusaka’s Radisson Blu Hotel, under the Theme ‘Investment for Industrialisation Wealth and Job Creation’.
Government would be hosting the fifth edition of the ZIIF 2016 in collaboration with Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and the United Kingdom (UK) investment platform Homestrings.
This year’s forum would provide a unique and strategic platform for business executives and Government officials from across the globe to interact and share experiences not only in the economic field but also in other areas of bilateral and global interest.
