A HERBALIST has taken a swipe at traditional healers operating without licences.
Christopher Zulu, who is popularly known as ‘Dr Seven Hours’, said it was sad to witness the rising number of dishonest people posing as traditional healers.
He said such people aimed at siphoning money from members of the public.
Mr Zulu said fake herbalists in the country had not only increased crime but added to misfortunes experienced in different areas as well.
“I wish everyone could have a licence and have it renewed every year.
“For instance in my case, I always go to renew the licence with the Traditional Healers Practitioners Association of Zambia which is led by Dr Rodwell Vongo,” he said.
He called on members of the public to be wary of people they got herbs from to avoid putting their lives in danger.
Mr Zulu is known especially by people from Chazanga Township for curing sexually transmitted diseases and prescribing sex boosters called ‘Seven Hours’.
“I am not called ‘Seven Hours’ for nothing. It is for real; you should ask men that I have given herbs before,” he said.
