THE Fifth Session of the 11th National Assembly will resume sitting next month after nearly two months of recess, Clerk of the National Assembly Doris Mwiinga has announced.
Parliament adjourned sine die on December 11, last year, after 49 days of business in which 238 questions for oral answer were considered and 11 Bills passed.
Ms Mwiinga said the House will resume business on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
Among the 11 Bills passed in the previous session of Parliament, were the Constitution of Zambia Bills number 16 and 17 of 2015, which had now been assented into law.
