A new political party has been formed with the aim of exposing and destroying any ‘foundation’ that connects the country to evil practices.
New Foundation Zambia party president Fraser Malama says he has been called by God to promote peace, love, unity and togetherness among all the 73 tribes in the country, and across all political parties.
The Lusaka-based business executive said evil things had for a long time troubled the nation and provoked God’s anger, hence the need by Zambians to effectively engage in prayer.
Mr Malama said his party, if voted into power, would rule the country by prayer and God’s guidance, including reversing the social and economic situation the country was facing.
He was speaking in Lusaka yesterday during the party’s inauguration ceremony.
Mr Malama said the party would support the construction industry and property development by establishing a lending institution to be named ‘the construction bank’ in order to empower small and medium enterprises.
“We decided to announce our party today, December 28, a day that Zambia was declared a Christian nation because we believe that we have been called by God to save his people,” he said.
He said the party would also deliver a Constitution through a convention.
The slogan of the party is ‘Changamuka Zambia. Ifintu te muntu ni Lesa’ meaning ‘Zambia wake up, it is all up to God not man’.
