TITLE chasing South Africa premiership side Mpumalanga Black Aces, has handed its players a five-day Christmas break to the joy of hitman Collins Mbesuma (above).
Mbesuma told the Club website that the break would help players spend their Christmas period with their families.
Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Musin Ertugral decided after the Tuesday training session that players be allowed a five-day break over the festive period.
“Thank you to Aces for everything they are doing for us and as a devout Christian, I am happy that we the players can spend Christmas with our families,” Mbesuma told the club’s website.
The Zambian, who scored in a 1-0 win over Ajax last weekend, currently tops the PSL scoring charts with seven goals, one more than Bidvest Wits’ Daine Klate and Andrea Fileccia of Free State Stars.
Aces are third in the Absa Premiership standings with 24 points from 12 games, two points behind joint leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits.
Ertugral’s side will resume their campaign against 11th-placed Polokwane City on January 9 at Mbombela Stadium.
