THE Zambia State Insurance Corporation (ZSIC) will continue to offer more lucrative and tailor-made insurance products aimed at helping to augment the country’s economy.
ZSIC General Insurance Limited managing director Charles Nakhoze said the company was committed to becoming more competitive and customer-oriented through its quality products.
He said ZSIC, through its line of strategic focus, was providing tailor-made products such as the Farm Park, GRZ Motor Vehicle Scheme, One-Stop Shop for road tax, prompt settlement of claims and growth of investment portfolio.
Mr Nakhoze said the company was committed to partnering in the socio-economic development of all sectors of the Zambian economy.
“Therefore, as a company, we are working on enhancing our product features and service delivery to become more competitive and customer-oriented,” he said.
Mr Nakhoze, in a speech read for him by ZSIC director branch operations, Mizinga Masinja, said this on Sunday evening at a prize-giving ceremony of the 2015 Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Golf tournament at Choma Golf Club.
He said Choma was a strategic town poised for economic growth following the relocation of the provincial capital from Livingstone and that ZSIC was offering its insurance products.
“As ZSIC, we want to be part of the developments happening in Southern Province. We not only want to grow our business, but to know our clients at a deeper level,” he said.
Provincial Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu hailed ZSIC for the commendable work through its investment in the economy.
He said in a speech read for him by provincial Permanent Secretary Sibanze Simuchoba that corporate social responsibility was an important tool in helping companies to market their products.
