THE Ugandan comedian King Kong, alias Maria Rosa – who is known for his hilarious dances – is set to give Zambia a taste of his dances and jokes this weekend.
The organisers Airtistq Vibez Limited have said that all is set and are ready for the performances at the new Government Complex on Saturday, November 7.
Michael Malambo, one of the organisers, said Maria Rosa was expected to arrive in the country on Thursday ahead of the event and had promised his funs a worthwhile time.
The show is set to start at 19:00 hours and it would be supported by local comedians like Saulosi, Collins the president and musicians like Rexious.
According to the organisers of this event, a bridal expo has also been arranged and is set for the same date and venue.
The winning couple of the bridal expo will get a fully-sponsored wedding ceremony worth K100,000.
The expo will take place in the morning from about 09:00 hours to 18:00 hours. It promises to draw the industry’s finest vendors.
“You may wish to know that we have already started giving back to the community through our weekly giveaways every Friday on QFM, among the things we are giving are wedding cakes, limousine rides, venues and decor,” Malambo said.
He said his company has received good response from the public as regards ticket sales and that people should expect more from the comedy night.
The event has been sponsored by Best Western Lusaka Grand Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, QFM, JJ Arts, Afro Bride and Artistiq Vibez.
