Following the recent launch of three channels on October 15 on the Indian packages, MultiChoice Africa has announced that it will give all DStv subscribers a free preview of the new channels from Friday, November 6 to 14, 2015, in celebration of the Diwali Festival.
During this period, all DStv subscribers in Zambia will access Star Hindi (DStv channel 453), Star Tamil (DStv channel 455) and Colours (DStv channel 456) which recently launched on DStv’s North and South Indian bouquets.
“We’ve offered all our customers a glimpse of the DStv Indian packages as part of the Diwali celebrations not only to thank our Indian subscribers for their loyal support over the years, but also to reward the rest of our subscribers with added entertainment from the three new additions to the DStv family,” Acting Multichoice Zambia General Manager Ngoza Kasunga Matakala said.
With a combination of fiction dramas, non-fiction and reality shows, blockbuster movies, and live events, India cast’s Colours channel has become the one-stop entertainment destination for viewers across the globe.
With its presence in more than 135 countries, Colours has been providing quality entertainment avenues to the Indian diaspora scattered across the world.
The general entertainment Hindi channel with English subtitles offers viewers great content like The Anupam Kher Show, Krishna Malram, Meri Aashiqui Tum se Hi and many more family favourites.
Viewers in Zambia will also be treated to two new premium channels from Star Networks, Star Tamil and Star Hindi that recently launched on DStv South and North Indian packages, respectively.
The channels will showcase flagship content rated No.1 in India and the UK and offer a stellar line-up of India’s best programming to viewers.
The channels showcase familiar programmes with an Indian flavour –
MasterChef India, Kitchen Superstar, Super Singer and Nach Baliye which is the Indian Strictly Come Dancing – as well as excellent shows such as Koffee with Karan which is a celebrity talk show and Mahabharat which is a drama series based on Indian mythology.
