By JAMES KUNDA –

ENGEN, the downstream petroleum products company with offices in fifteen African and Indian Ocean Island countries has introduced its Dieselube 500 Super 15W-40 lubricating oil onto the Zambia market.

Engen Zambia managing director Andre de Wet said in a statement that the firm has brought the product to Zambia as the in-country operation and dealer network had matured sufficiently.

First established in 1999, the country operation received a significant boost when Engen acquired the operating assets of Chevron in Zambia in 2010.

The move grew Engen’s existing service station network to 36 in the course of two years of integrating the networks.

“Moreover, this lubricant is just what Zambian motorists want and need. Market research has shown that our customers want a quality, reliable lubricant,” he said.

Mr De Wet said Dieselube 500 Super lubricant is going to be widely available in Zambia at an affordable price.

Engen Dieselube 500 Super will be available in Zambia from this month.
