THERE is an eatery providing authentic Japanese food in Lusaka following the recent opening of the Nippon Sushi Mai Catering Limited in Rhodespark area.
This is the first Japanese restaurant in Zambia which is aimed at promoting the Japanese food and culture.
The opening of the restaurant will promote the Japanese culture and provide authentic Japanese food to the consumers in the capital city.

INCREASED prices of bread around some Ndola shops, in some cases from K5 to K9 per loaf, have got people talking.
The talking point is a sudden increase to almost double without any explanation like it has been in the past when consumers were pre-informed of such increments, backed by changing economic factors.
What is worrying is while almost all retail shops have hiked the prices, others still maintain the old prices of K5 with others making slight adjustments of only up to K1.

STILL on bread, there have been continued long queues for the commodity in most chain retail shops in Lusaka especially in the evening.
Most of these supermarkets are characterised by long queues which make shoppers spend more time while jostling to get the commodity.
Something needs to be done to improve the situation.
