PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has made three changes at Permanent Secretary level.
President Lungu has transferred Peter Mwaba from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Ministry of Health taking over from Davy Chikamata who moves to the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health. Both are moving in the same capacities.
Other changes the Head of State made include the transfer of Professor Elwyn Chomba from the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health to the Ministry of Home Affairs in the same capacity.
President Lungu said this in a statement issues in Lusaka yesterday by his Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations, Amos Chanda.
“The President takes this opportunity to urge all Permanent Secretaries to be more diligent, prudent in resource management and work expeditiously to deliver public services to the people,” Mr Chanda said.
