I WANT to thank Gady Museka for bringing up an important issue in one of his letters on finding a lasting solution to accidents on the Kabwe-Lusaka Road.
I believe that we have problems in finding a lasting solution to this problem because Traffice Police are not doing much in curbing this sad issue because most vehicles which are not road worthy find themselves on this road.
The traffic police have patrol cars to go out and serve the people by impounding these vehicles and arresting people who are not supposed to be driving.
The inspector general of police, Stella Libongani must take this very seriously in order to bring back sanity on the roads. We do not need to complain to the Head of State everytime we want to be heard.
