MIDFIEDER Lubambo Musonda says he will ensure that he impresses at his new Armenian club, Gandzasar Kapana.
Lubambo last week signed a two year deal with Armenia Premier League side Gandzarsar FC after spending the first half of the season clubless.
The Zambia Under-20 captain said he was excited to have been given another opportunity to play in Europe after leaving FC Ullises.
Lubambo in 2014 joined FC Ulisses on a one season contract which was not extended and was left without a club after playing for the Chipolopolo at the Equatorial Guinea 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
“I am happy that I have signed with another European team after leaving Ulisses and I will work even harder than I did last season,” he said.
Gandzasar FC, who finished fourth in the league last season, kick off their season with a game against Shirak on August 2.
Meanwhile, Chipolopolo striker Evans Kangwa has renewed his contract with Israel side Happoel Ra’anana.
Kangwa, who was set to rejoin Nkana for the second half of the MTN-FAZ Super League season, will be heading back to Israel to regroup with his teammate Emmanuel Mbola after signing a two year contract.
Kangwa said in an interview from Israel yesterday that he was happy that he has been given another two-year deal.
“I am glad Happoel Ra’anana has extended my contract for two more years, it’s an opportunity for me to work even harder,” the 2012 AFCON winner said.
