‘MAGNIFICENT’ Kabwe Warriors supporters have expressed confidence their side will win back promotion to the MTN-FAZ Super League.
Warriors currently lead the FAZ Division One South table on 44 points and six clear of second placed Lusaka Tigers prior to the weekend games.
Michael Chishimba said he was sure Warriors would bounce back to the elite league looking at the rate at which the team was progressing in its quest to win promotion.
Chishimba said the team under coach Mohammed Fathy has improved tremendously and back the Egyptian to guide the railwaymen to top flight football.
He said the recruitment of the new players has paid off citing Congolese lethal striker Idris Moomba as one of the best strikers to be signed on.
“Come rain, come sunshine, we are bouncing back to the Super League following the splendid performance the team has exhibited so far, “he said.
Another fan, Musonda Mwape equally expressed optimism that Warriors will win promotion and even go on to challenge for the title next season.
Mwape attributed the team’s good performance to management’s commitment to player’s welfare.
He said motivation was one of the key factors to player’s good performance.
He appealed to club management to maintain Fathy so that he continues to steer the team to greater heights.
“So far you can see how the team is winning especially the 6-0 thrashing of Kafue Celtic in a Week 18 match played at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium last Saturday,” Mwape said.
Meanwhile, Fathy is positive Warriors will retain its top flight status going by the way the team is performing.
