NOMINATED in three categories, Copperbelt-based rapper Chef 187 is leading this year’s Born and Bred Awards which will take place on July 17, 2015.
Controversial artiste Bobby East, Willz, Jay Rox and gospel artiste Abel Chungu have two nominations each.
Although Zambian artistes have not yet reached the top like other African musicians such as Nigeria’s D’banj who was voted the continents best performer during last year’s World Music Awards, many upcoming artistes who worked tirelessly on vidoes this year have made the cut and it’s now up to their fans to vote for them in the various groups by typing BnB, the name of the artiste, the category and then send to the code 4882.
