WE appreciate that Zesco has to load-shed due to circumstances beyond their control.
We welcome their initiative to publish load-shedding timetables.
What is really annoying is that Zesco does not follow its own timetable. This is not good for planning purposes.
Zesco please save us from the double agony.

Attacks on Government by FDD inappropriate
l FIND the attacks on Government by FDD leader Edith Nawakwi to be irrelevant and inappropriate. Edith is in a rush to accuse the Government of failing to invest in more power stations but can she point at any power stations she initiated as Finance minister?
What Ms Nawakwi is talking about today was supposed to have been done many years ago when she served as a minister.
The power outages are partly due poor planning by previous administrations.
We need leaders who can think beyond their tenure of office.
Hydro electric projects are long-term but we have never looked to the future.

No Homosexuality for Financial Assistance!
SOME things being practised by some people are tantamount to satanic behaviour.
God created man and woman to live together. He never said that a woman will leave her parents’ house to go and join another woman.
Instead he said a woman will leave her parents’ house to go and live with a man and they will be called husband and wife.
But now because most countries are influenced by the Western culture, they have started accepting barbaric manners like homosexuality just to get financial assistance.
This is sad and explains why some people sold the Son of God for the love of money.
The human anatomy is designed by the Most High to perform its specific functions. This cannot be changed by any living soul.
I always pray day and night so that Zambia will not be part of this barbaric act, it’s better to suffer than to offend God in such a manner. What these people are doing is as good as saying that God was wrong to create us the way we are.
I urge our leaders not to bow to pressure just to get financial support as some of the nations are doing. We say no to HOMOSEXUALITY.
