SINGER, songwriter Dainness Kalondo has released her debut album Nimwe Nkabila (It is you I yearn for)
The artist said Gospel music for her is an instrument to preach the goodness of God to the masses so they can become born again.
The Kitwe-based vocalist began singing and wrote her first gospel tunes at a very tender age.
Her album which consists of 10 songs among them Twamisengila, Nimwe Nkabila, Aliwama, Ilangeni, Lesa Mulasuka, Mwebakumuna ifilamba fyandi, It’s only you, Mulale Mucibote, Amalumbo and I will be missing
you.
Her songs have seen her perform at churches such as Bible Gospel Outreach Church in Africa, Evangelical Ministry, Divine Prophetic Ministry and King’s Glory ministry.
Working not only with Joseph and Ikerd and Nathan but also Cassie Stone, she hopes to feature more artists in her next album.
She says she is inspired by Gospel artists like Suwilanji and Emphraim to mention but a few.
In addition, Dainess appeals to would be sponsors to assist upcoming artistS like herself so that they can minister to a number of people country wide.
Dainess’ melodic sensibility in Gospel music will surely make her uniquely suited to appeal to a young and old audience.
