AIRTEL has launched ‘So Che Faqs’ (SCF) media in which customers will be able to use their bundle packages across all networks.
Airtel team leader Andrew Ngulube said the product was the first of its kind and would consist of voice minutes, SMS and Data which would be used across all networks.
Mr Ngulube explained that So Che would allow customers to purchase bundles valid from 24 hour to 30 days.
“The good part of this initiative is that So Che bundles will be valid accordingly, for instance daily packs will expire only after 24 hours, weekly will be seven days and monthly packs will be up to 30 days,” said Mr Ngulube.
He said the service would be open to the entire Airtel prepaid base and each prepaid customer would have a customised offer upon dialing *140#.
“International calls will be billed according to the customer’s tariff plan. The customer can however, subscribe to discounted international calling rates by sending INT to 5522.
“Post-paid customers, payphones, customers on DDS tariff plan and Pre-paid customers on CUG plans will be excluded,” he said.
Airtel Corporate Communication manager, Yuyo Nachali-Kambikambi said So Che would be effective from Monday next week.
Ms Kambikambi said Airtel had tried to manoeuvre around and do what was best for the clients and was also ready to ensure that every subscriber benefited from the company.
