LUANSHYA and Mufulira won their respective Zambia Cricket Union (ZCU) Copperbelt Girls League Week Two matches to share joint leadership of the log with four points.
Hosts Luanshya won the toss and elected to bat first in the match played at Bharat Sports Club. Luanshya girls scored 88 runs in 15 overs with Gean Chabula top scoring after hitting 26 runs.
Peak of the bowlers for Ndola A was Agness Shezongo who took four wickets. In return, Ndola A only managed to score 61 runs losing the game by 27 runs and Peak of the bowlers for Luanshya was Stellia Mbewe who got three wickets.
At Kanini Sports Club in Ndola, visiting Mufulira beat the hosts Ndola B by five wickets.
In the other game played at Nkana Cricket Club in Kitwe, visiting Chingola won the toss and chose to bat first and in their batting, they scored 60 runs all out in 18.2 overs.
Easter Mulenga scored high for Nchanga with 12 runs as Royce Manyamba of Nkana got away with four wickets.
Nkana batting second, only managed to score 47 runs in 16 overs with the Peak of the bowlers for Nchanga being Easter Mulenga who took four wickets.
