PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu is today expected here for the 34th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Extraordinary Summit whose focus is on industrialisation.
Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba said in an interview yesterday that President Lungu was expected to arrive at 14:30 hours.??Immediately after arrival, Mr Lungu is expected to hold a private meeting with his Zimbabwean counterpart Robert Mugabe.
“The President would later hold another meeting with his Namibian counterpart Hage Geingob,” Mr Kalaba said. ?Mr Lungu would also meet the Zambians living in Zimbabwe at the Zambian High Commission.
On Wednesday, the President would participate in the 34th SADC Heads of State Extraordinary Summit.
On Thursday, Mr Lungu is expected in Bulawayo to open the 56th Trade Fair which would attract more than 5, 000 exhibitors and more than 7000 spectators.
The President returns to Zambia immediately after officiating at the trade fair.
