Having interacted and talked to a lot of tax payers, Zambia Revenue Authority still has a big challenge with regard to the online processes.
It is a known fact that most tax payers still have problems filling in the returns online and I would just urge ZRA to take the challenge seriously otherwise there will be reduction in revenue collection.
Most importantly, why not allow clients to continue filling returns manually as they accustom themselves with the online filling. I think most tax payers still need your touch on screen services.
Other than that, there will be two things that will happen; filling late returns which will attract penalties which tax payers may fail to pay hence close businesses or filling returns wrongly. All these lead to low revenue collection.
