Blast from the past LOGOA SUCCESSFUL business executive and entrepreneur, Satwant ‘ Mukango’ Singh is a well-established and most decorated figure in Zambian motor sport. Since he started motor racing in 1969, Singh grew in his career to become a popular sportsman in Africa.
To date, Singh is the only Zambian to have won the FIA African Rally Championship for a record eight times.
Singh also boasts of having been crowned Zambia National Rally champion on 12 occasions. Mukango, previously called ‘Flying Sikh’, is married to former Zambia Motor Sport Association president, Anne-Lee Singh, finally retired from the sport in 2004.
However, his nephew Muna Singh took up the mantle also conquer the continent. Up to now, the Singh name is still causing havoc in motor rally.
