IT seems the government’s efforts in ensuring that the prices of mealie meal become affordable have not yielded much.
Generally, the prices of mealie meal have remained sky-high in most parts of the country despite the government, through the Food Reserve Agency, having offloaded maize at highly subsidised prices.
The prices are seemingly stuck at around K65 per 25 kilogramme bag of breakfast mealie meal when they should drop to below K60.

But the quality of ice-cream at the outlet still leaves much to be desired.
Hungry Lion management should make sure that the quality of ice-cream improves to continue attracting customers and compete favourably.
