PATRIOTIC Front (PF) national youth chairperson Chishimba Kambwili has warned of stern action against youths in the ruling party calling for the dismissal of secretary general Davis Chama.
Mr Kambwili said he would not hesitate to discipline youths whom he alleges have been hired by the opposition Rainbow Party to mount protests against Mr Chama.
He said this in Masaiti yesterday shortly after Acting President Inonge Wina addressed a rally to drum-up support for PF candidate in the fourthcoming Masaiti Parliamentary by-election Michael Katambo.
“I want to warn youths in the PF to refrain from protesting against our party secretary general Mr Chama, because he has done nothing wrong.
“He (Mr Chama) has only been in office barely four months and it is illogical to start calling for his dismissal on reasons that he has failed to mobilise support for the party,” he said.
Mr Kambwili said the ruling party was not up for sale to the highest bidder and youths fanning confusion would be expelled.
