SHEPOLOPOLO coach Albert Kachinga says the team is shaping up well for this weekend’s Congo Brazzaville 2015 All-Africa Games (AAG) first round, first leg qualifier against Tanzania.
Kachinga said in an interview after training that he was impressed with the player’s determination and hunger shown in training ahead of the match.
He said that he was generally impressed with the team’s showing in a friendly game against OYDC Under-15 boy’s team despite not being in camp for a long time.
Though his team lost 2-1 with Misozi Zulu getting the first half goal for the Shepolopolo, Kachinga said the team looked good.
“I am getting to see most of these players in action for the first time but while there are one or two things that need to be worked on, I am generally happy that they were good and impressive,” he said.
Kachinga said he made a lot of changes in the team that played the friendly match to have cohesion and quality of play.
“I made a lot of changes, basically the whole team. In fact we were leading 1-0 at half time with the probable team but after all those changes, we conceded those two. I have asked for another match on Tuesday with the OYDC Under-17 boys, this should help the team,” he said.
