ZAMBIA attracted 900 show goers at its stand during the just-ended Washington DC Travel and Adventure Show.
The Zambian Embassy in the United States of America participated at the show which was held on March 7 to March 8, this year.
This is according to a statement posted on the Zambian Embassy Facebook page.
Zambian Embassy First Secretary, Tourism, Marsha Holdway led the Zambian team at the show which endeavoured to make Zambia the preferred tourist destination.
This 11th Washington DC Travel and Adventure Show is the only travel show in the Washington DC area.
The show provides an opportunity for travellers to congregate annually to plan and book their next holidays.
Travellers also attend in order to get inspired and get ideas on where to go, what to do and further receive the latest travel information to keep them up to date with tours and trips on offer.
The Show attracted nearly 25,000 attendees, with the Zambian booth alone attracting almost 900 attendees.
