GOVERNMENT has dissolved the Zesco board, Mines, Energy and Water Development, minister Christopher Yaluma has said.
Mr Yaluma announced the termination of the appointments of the board members of Zesco in a Press statement issued in Lusaka yesterday.
Mr Yaluma thanked the board members for their commitment and dedication rendered during their tenure of office.
“I would like to thank the board members for their commitment and dedication to duty during the period they served as directors of Zesco board,” he said.
Mr Yaluma said a new board would soon be constituted and given a clear mandate to ensure that the company continues to improve its performance.
