What appeared like a normal day to all, turned out to be fatal when it progressed, as the devil rode on it to frustrate those found in the spiritual realm.
Everything seemed alright from the beginning of that fateful day, but the devil was relentless as he was out to thwart plans outlined for the work of GOD by his messengers.
This is what a glimpse of that mid morning of October 17, 2014 unearthed on which the Ndola based messenger of GOD, Pastor Charles Mumba, cheated death in a shocking accident.
Breaking his silence since that dark day, Messenger Mumba described the incident as purely the work of the devil that was out to frustrate GOD’s work.
Messenger Mumba said in a recent interview that he could not understand why the devil singled him out as there were many vehicles that used the same route during that hour.
Pastor Mumba who heads Christ the King Ministries International Church, a place of solutions, with more than 2,000 local and international congregants who throng the tabernacle for healing, deliverance and blessings during Sunday service, believes that his tireless work for the afflicted people of Ndola, has greatly disturbed GOD’s enemies.
Just like his mentor Prophet TB Joshua who has countless enemies, the powers of darkness have tirelessly fought messenger Mumba as evidenced in the said accident.
He notes that because of this, he had drawn a lot of enemies and that, the powers of darkness were not well pleased with the work he was doing.
There is no doubt that the devil is uncomfortable because his kingdom is on fire and scattered due to pressure from the anointed man of GOD.
The powers of darkness are equally not happy with such activities but the power of GOD Messenger Mumba serves is greater than any satanic activity.
According to Messenger Mumba, this has not mixed well with those working against him and adds;
“The devil is a liar, as children of GOD, let us be more prayerful and pray for each other’s strength”.
Narrating the ordeal in which he came out unscratched, Messenger Mumba explained in his recent testimony that, the power of GOD he serves was greater than any satanic activities put together.
The man of GOD goes on to reveal that, the day started normally that morning of October 17, when he set off from  Ndola’s Nkwazi Township for the town Centre on Ministerial assignment in his official Toyota Prado vehicle registration number HEB 8 13.
After driving for about 15 minutes and while on Lowenthal Road near the Zambian Breweries plant, he saw a vision like a parachute coming down as if  to lift him out of the driver’s seat.
And in a flash, he saw a big tree falling on his vehicle, direct on the driver’s seat where he was, igniting a fierce flame of fire from the ZESCO power cables above him on which the tree also fell as it came down crushing on his vehicle.
“During this time, I was under the cover of  GOD Almighty because I was in prayer and fasting. Glory to the GOD of Prophet  TB Joshua, I came out clean without any scratch. What A GOD we serve!” Pastor said.
Shortly after that incident, the man of GOD immediately left for the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria, to meet his mentor Prophet TB Joshua.
Messenger Mumba while quoting a Bible verse in Lamentations 3:22, said, “Because of GOD’s great love, we are not consumed”.
He further quoted Verses from Psalms 91:1-6, which goes like “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord”.
“In GOD is my salvation and my glory, the rock of my strength and my refuge is in GOD (Psalms 62:7)”.
The clergyman is renowned for the a number of deliverances, such as the  exorcising of demons from two self confessed Satanists,  Jealous Mwaba of Chingola and Jonathan Zulu of Lusaka who both once lived under the sea to seek the powers of darkness.
Mwaba had an experience under the Atlantic ocean bordering Congo DR for one a half years while,  Zulu lived under water in Angola as he was being  initiated into satanism.
Messenger Mumba says both these men have since been delivered and were now free in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The last few years have seen great change in the lives of many Christians in Ndola especially those who had various diseases including social challenges.
Christ the King Ministries International Church has  initiated a number of projects including scholarships for the poor and needy in society.
The Church looks after orphans, widows, the aged people and runs Hospital and Prisons Ministries as well as community projects.
More than three months down the line after that  accident, Messenger Mumba still comes out strong against witchcraft and other forces of darkness. The war against evil spirits continues.
