All-share index goes up on LuSE

THE all-share index at the Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE) has gone up by 0.06 per cent to close the day at 6,171.19 points.
A price change was recorded in the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) of K0.01.
According to a summary posted on LuSE, the LuSE all-share index closed at 6,171.19 points up by 0.06 per cent in comparison to the previous close of 6,167.23 points.
The trading report indicates that trading was also recorded in British American Tobacco Zambia (BATZ), Airtel, Lafarge, Standard Chartered Zambia and Zambia Sugar Company.
A total of 17,221 shares were traded in 37 trades resulting in a turnover of K74, 790.
The report said the LuSE market cap was recorded at: K65,701,000,000, including Shoprite and K31, 462,000,000 excluding Shoprite.
