MTN Zambia has launched a promotion that will give back 100 per cent airtime and data bundles to its customers.
The promotion is designed to reward customers for boosting MTN’s performance as a market leader in the mobile service industry.
MTN chief marketing officer Clement Asante said in a statement that MTN Zambia ended last year as the industry leader with the largest market share owing to the loyalty of its customers.
Mr Asante said MTN Zambia would this year continue rewarding its customers through various initiatives as a way of thanking them for their trust in the MTN brand.
He said the first initiative for 2015 was the MTN 100 per cent bonus promotion.
“We have been consistent in rewarding our customers and we are not going to stop. As the name of the promotion suggests, we are giving back 100 per cent airtime for every airtime top up and 100 per cent
data bonus on bundles used daily.
This means that for every recharge of K1 and above, customers get back the same value of airtime to use on MTN to MTN calls for the whole day and for all the data bundles used, the customer gets them back for use at a prescribed time. This is as good as saying we are offering two for the price of one,” Mr Asante said.
“At MTN Zambia, the customer is at the heart of what we do as we strive to provide the best value and quality communications, the format of this promotion has therefore largely been informed by customer feedback.
As industry leaders, we know the majority of Zambians who own mobile phones are on the MTN network and so this promotion will go a long way in addressing the communication needs of millions of Zambians,” he said.
Customers would be required to subscribe to the service by dialing *340*7# allowing them to enjoy the bonus every time they recharged their airtime and every time they utilised their data-bundles.
