CHIPOLOPOLO midfielder Isaac Chansa has dispelled media reports that he has signed with Indonesian club Mitra Kukar.
Indonesian media had reported that Chansa had signed with the club but the player said in an interview in Lusaka that no deal was ever reached with the club.
“Yes, there were things like that happening but we did not agree on the contract. So I just want to clear something so that people don’t get the wrong picture.
Yes, I understand they might have heard from the club that it might be a done deal but at the end of the day we didn’t agree on the deal,” Chansa said.
Chansa is currently back home in Zambia after completing a short-term contract in the inaugural Indian Super League at North East United whom he joined last August.
The midfielder said he will be training with Zanaco during their 2015 pre-season preparations while his agent seeks overseas offers for him.
