By CHARITY MOONGA –
PF presidential candidate Edgar Lungu has said that the prices of fuel would soon be reduced further.
Mr Lungu said this when he addressed a marathon three rallies in Rufunsa, Chongwe and Kafue yesterday.
Government would reduce the mealie-meal and fuel prices through the correct processes.
He said those promising that the reductions will take a short period of time were lying because it is a process to reduce fuel and mealie-meal prices.
Mr Lungu also explained that the current stock of fuel was bought at a higher price.
Reductions in price would be made after exhausting the old fuel stocks.
At another rally in Rufunsa, Mr Lungu urged opponents not to take delight in some people joining their opposition political party were up to no good.
He appealed to his supporters to campaign peacefully and avoid any violence in campaigns.
Mr Lungu said he is enjoying a lot of support and goodwill that had eased his campaigns.
“They said I have no money, but look at the goodwill that has been given to our party (pointing at the 4 Helicopters). I might have no money but I am your servant and will receive wisdom from you and will do the will of the people,” he said.
