POLICE in Ndola yesterday found a dead body along the Ndola-Kitwe dual carriageway with deep cuts on the left armpit, lower lip, chin, left ear and a broken left leg.
Copperbelt police chief Joyce Kasosa said the deceased; Borton Lunda, 25, could have been murdered and his body abandoned around the Checha Catch-way area before the Luanshya turnoff.
“We have found a dead body of a 25-year-old man identified as Borton Lunda along the Ndola-Kitwe dual carriageway, we suspect this to be murder,” she said.
Ms Kasosa said a black bag containing a radio, camera, and National Registration Card was found at the scene and police have launched investigations into the incident.
Mr Lunda’s body was taken to Thomson mortuary for postmortem and Ms Kasosa has appealed to people with knowledge about the incident to report the matter to the police.
