PATRIOTIC Front (PF) president Edgar Lungu is today expected to resume his campaign trail in Northern Province to woo the electorate ahead of next month’s presidential election.
Mr Lungu will hold rallies in Kaputa, Nsama and Mpulungu today, before proceeding to Mbala where he will attend a service at Saint Francis Catholic Church tomorrow before holding rallies in Mbala and Mungwi.
According to a campaign programme released by PF secretary general Davis Chama yesterday, Mr Lungu would then proceed to Muchinga Province on Monday where he will begin by calling on late President Michael Sata’s family in Mpika.
“He will then hold rallies in Mpika, Chinsali and Isoka,” Mr Chama said.
On Tuesday, the ruling party leader will hold rallies in Nakonde and Mafinga before proceeding to hold another rally in Lundazi, Eastern Province.
“On Wednesday, Mr Lungu will hold a rally in Chadiza and Katete and will end with Chipata before breaking off the New Year festivities,” Mr Chama said.
