Acting President Guy Scott has called on Zambians to uphold peace and tranquillity during the festive season.
Dr Scott said in his Christmas message to the nation last night that as a Christian nation, it is important that Zambians celebrate Christmas in a descent manner.
Dr Scott said Government will not condone unruly behaviour during this period and appealed to all Zambians to give thanks to God.
He said during this time, Zambians should uphold Christian values and show love, kindness and forgiveness to one another.
During this period, the nation should maintain its slogan of One Zambia, One Nation and remain united.
Dr Scott thanked Zambians for the support rendered to the Patriotic Front Government. – ZANIS
