UPCOMING Chipata gospel musician Christabell Phiri has said her music has the ability to preach salvation and help people to change from their bad morals.
Christabell, who is known as ‘The Ambassador of Christ’, said in an interview that her music was benefiting society in may ways, says listeners of her music were able to learn and understand that God was the real source of wisdom as well as strength.
“I would like to point out that I decided to do music because through music I believe I can preach the good news of God worldwide. I wish to preach through music because I believe where I cannot reach my music can,” she said.
Christabell said she was doing music as a devoted Christian, saying the music was a strong force to honour and worship God through it.
She has, however, appealed for financial assistance amounting to K10,000 which was required for audio recording, registration of the product, duplication of audio, advertising of music, shows launch and videos.
