THE Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) in conjunction with the Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS) is scheduled to hold a two-day industrial development workshop in Lusaka.
The goal of the seminar was to contribute to Zambia’s industrial development by improving the knowledge of the relevant stakeholders, including ZACCI, its member and the entire private sector, and improving the dialogue between business and government.
A statement released at the weekend said the workshop would focus on competitiveness issues and industrial development at a country level and also competitiveness issues and industrialisation from an individual company perspective, including interactive workshops with the individual businesses participating.
“A secondary goal is to target individual companies and bring knowledge transfer to these through business development workshops and coaching by Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS), ZACCI and its member organisations,” the statement said.
The workshop would run from October 15 to 16, 2014 at Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka.
The event would gather various stakeholders from government,
chambers, business organizations and individual companies tied to ZACCI and its membership network and the entire private sector.
