BEAUTY Shampongo, the gospel artiste known for her hit Mulonga Wa Mweo, got a pleasant reception when she launched her album Ilyashi Lya Kale at Ndola Broadway Cinema Hall.
Broadway Cinema Hall was packed as Beauty’s long anticipated album launch finally became reality.
Several local artistes like Paul Tembo, Gabby, DMK, and several others also featured as the music.
Around midnight of last weekend Beauty stepped on stage and the crowd could not resist her music.
There was no doubt Mulonga Wa Mwo, which is translated as river of life, somewhat speaks to many down-trodden hearts, looking out for betters days.
It is a story, or declaration that someone would not suffer because he or she has found the river of life that never runs dry.
In essence, it is a make poverty history song, which obviously speaks to the hearts and souls of many.
Anyhow, Beauty Shapongo’s album launch was successful and has left an impact on those who witnessed the launch.
